Muscadelle
Muscadelle
Muscadelle is a white grape variety (cépage) that is mainly found in the vicinity of Bordeaux and the Bergerac, where it also seems to originate. It can also be found in other wine regions, such as Languedoc, Corbières, Côtes de Gascogne and Roussillon. In the Bordelais, muscadelle is blended with sauvignon and sémillon to produce white wines such as pessac-léognan, graves, and the famous wines of the Sauternes and its environs
