The Château Pape Clement Blanc Grand Cru Classé de Graves is one of the highest rated white Graves. Light straw yellow in the glass, the wine has tropical notes of warm pineapple, fresh mango and green guava plus hints of nutmeg, orange blossom, lanolin and mineral tones. Full, rich and seductive, absolutely loaded with layers of tropical fruit and spices, with a spicy line to support and a long, luscious finish. The Pape Clement Blanc is a blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sémillon and 3% Sauvignon Gris. The wine has matured for 16 months in 55% new and 45% 2nd year French oak barrels.
