The showpiece of Goppion Caffè, a coffee that really has it all. It is not for nothing that Nativo was named the best coffee in the Dutch Misset Koffie Top 100 in 2014! Goppion was the first Italian roaster to launch this sustainable coffee in 1988. This special coffee is both organic and Fairtrade certified. Goppion Caffè Nativo is made from carefully selected hand-picked red (ripe) Arabica coffee berries from Honduras. Coffee connoisseurs often choose Nativo as their favorite. Nativo has an intense, balanced taste with hints of cocoa and fruit. A full body and a pronounced cocoa taste but also soft and not bitter. It is not surprising that you often come across this coffee in the high-end catering industry and in coffee specialty shops.
Since 1995, Goppion has been Fairtrade (formerly Transfair) certified. Goppion developed its expertise in processing fair trade products from organic farming in 1986, when CTM (Third World Cooperation), now known as Altro Mercato, asked the company to process coffee on their behalf.

Luigi Goppion started a small coffee bar in 1859. He soon started roasting the coffee beans himself and the real passion for coffee made only of the very best quality was born. The first coffee entered Europe via the port of Venice. The local coffee traders around Venice had the first choice and could roast their coffee with the best beans. The Goppion family has been roasting the highest quality Italian coffee since 1859. Goppion Caffè is the favorite coffee of the regions Friuli Venezia Gulia and Veneto.
In 1988 they launched the first fully organic and fairtrade coffee blend. In 2014 there was the first major Dutch success by winning the Misset Koffie Top 100 with the Goppion Caffè Nativo. Every year there are also Goppion customers in the top 10 of the coffee test in the Algemeen Dagblad.
