Located on the edge of a rock plateau, overlooking the undulating vineyards and the slopes of the grande combe de Saint-Laurent, LA-ROQUE certainly sets the tone. Vines have taken root everywhere, penetrating deeply into the three types of limestone, typical of this appellation: the blond clay (in the west) and red clay (Agen Molasse in the east) on petrified limestone plateaus and the creamy white clay (Fronsac Molasse) from which the east-facing terraces exist
and west-facing slopes. And it is this variety of soils and terrains that gives this vineyard its unique character. Elegant, nuanced, floral, subtle, clear, long aftertaste, lively, radiant, iodine.
