Description
The Bogle family has been active in agriculture for over 100 years. Since the late 1960s, they have also grown grapes in the California wine region of Clarksburg and later also Lodi. Bogle is certified by various agencies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the “Sacramento Area Sustainable Business” Certificate.
The Bogle Phantom Chardonnay is the top model Chardonnay from Bogle Vineyards. The Phantom Chardonnay seduces with its rich flavors with notes of green apple and pear in the nose, but with some swirling we also smell strong notes of freshly baked apple pie and Brioche. Due to the long maturation on oak barriques, the wine gets a creamy, lush mouthfeel and we taste sweet notes of vanilla and melted caramel. Drink this wine at a temperature of around 10°C. It would be a waste of the beautiful flavors to drink it colder.
FACT: The wine is in our conditioned Wine Warehouse and if you come to pick up the wine you will also receive a nice discount. You will see your discount immediately when you choose Pick up in Checkout page. We are almost next to the Rijksweg with plenty of parking. Click here for our address.

The Bogle family has been growing wines since the nineteenth century. It wasn't until around 1968 that the family planted the first vines near Clarksburgh USA. After years of hard work, the Bogle family has more than 1,200 acres of viticulture in California. With the growth of the company, the family established a name within the wine world, both in America and abroad. The main reason for the success is that the family is engaged in the production of wine on a daily basis. The family understands that high quality wines start with excellent grape varieties. They ensure this by working organically with respect for the land and the environment. The story behind the pheasant on the labels of the wines is as follows. The family wanted a label that reflected the region of the vineyards. The family came into contact with the artist Paul Lorenzi, who was sketching the wines one evening. Suddenly a beautiful pheasant sat in the middle of the vineyard. The Bogle wines label was born!
