The Dumanet wines are the house wines in a number of star restaurants. As a condition for being allowed to carry these wines, we are not allowed to give out the names of these restaurants, but these are resounding names and we can actually understand that people like to work with the wines of Dumanet because the quality is very good, the price is very attractive and the style in which the wines are made means that this is appreciated by almost everyone.
For lovers of wood-aged Chardonnay wines, so those who like that little bit of butter in Chardonnay, we can certainly recommend this white Dumanet Chardonnay Reserve. The grapes come from old vineyards in Pay D'oc, located on a soil full of lime and pebbles. These vines grow in a perfect climate with warm days, not too many outliers and the proximity of the sea and the ever-present wind provide sufficient cooling in the evening and night.
After the harvest, it is first cooled to rest and then gently pressed. In this way, Dumanet only obtains the finest and purest juice. After this, part of the wine is aged in oak barrels and the rest is aged in stainless steel, which gives this Chardonnay its strength and suppleness while retaining its freshness. After this period, the bottle matures for a total of eight months in the bottle in the Dumanet cellar before it can be sold.
In the glass this Dumanet Chardonnay Reserve has a clear straw yellow color with in the nose tones of pear and yellow apple, beautifully lush and wide and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth the wine is full bodied but also nice and fresh soft and easy, dry but not at all strict. In the aftertaste this Dumanet Chardonnay Reserve is soft and creamy and a long aftertaste.
FACT : The label shows two men cycling, which is a reminder of the beautiful bike rides through the vineyards. In the past, the winemaker would cycle through the vineyards with the idea of one day making a top wine from this, well, that has succeeded so many years later.

Dumanet is part of the Vignerons du Narbonnais located in the Languedoc-Roussillon. The Dumanet wines are mainly used by a number of Michelin-starred restaurants as their house wine. We are not allowed to release the names and only under that condition can we offer the wines of Dumanet. The vineyards are located in the beautiful hills of Languedoc Roussillon. The climate is perfect for a multitude of grapes and gives warm and fruity wines with a certain minerality as the soil structure on which the vineyards are situated contains a lot of lime, clay and pebbles. Also, the warm day temperatures, but the cooling in the evening due to the proximity of the very for a good ratio between day and night temperatures, which also gives the wines a good freshness. The price/quality ratio of the Dumanet wines is unparalleled.
