This Californian Malbec from Jamieson has had 6 months aging of which 30% in French oak barrels so the wine has elegance without being a blockbuster. The Whiplash Malbec is delicious to drink now, but can also be stored. The mlabec comes across as very elegant and smells fresh and fresh aromas of black and blue berries, plum and a hint of nutmeg. On the palate the wine is full bodied, full bodied with an explosion of ripe fruit mainly berry fruit and plum.
