Description
Tramari Rosé from Primitivo Salento comes from vineyards between the seas' (in Italian: “Tra I Mari”) The Tramari Rosé is an elegant and light rosé, refined yet casual, born in the sun of the Salento summers. TheOur flowers and a salty note on the palate that take us back to the jagged sandy coast. Made entirely from Primitivo grapes. Soft pink, hints of cherry and raspberry.
The Tramari Rosé di Primitivo Salento is made from the Primitivo grape from the Salento IGP appellation. The vineyard is located about 100 m above sea level, with high average temperatures and medium to low rainfall. The soil of the vineyard consists of a clay layer (ideal for retaining water, but is also full of rocks. The altitude and proximity to the sea provides a cooling at night which ensures that the grapes also develop a good acidity.
The harvest takes place around the first week of September. During vinification, the must comes into contact with the skin of the grape for a few hours, followed by partial tapping of the must of the Primitivo grapes and is then ready for further fermentation in stainless steel tanks. In the glass, the Tamari has a light rosé color with intense and persistent aromas of Mediterranean maquis on the nose, with hints of cherries and raspberries. The Tramari is a fresh and elegant wine, balanced in the mouth and is gastronomically delicious with Italian starters, fish soups and broth, grilled or fried fish, fresh or slightly mature cheese and is of course fantastic to enjoy standalone on the terrace and at the BBQ.
The labels of the 2024 Tramari Art rosé were designed by the artist Pietro Terzini , and are an art project called TRAMART . The concept revolves around "messages on the bottle" – short, powerful texts or statements that appear directly on the label. These statements are typical of Terzini's style: contemporary, ironic and often with a touch of pop culture.
The labels thus function not only as wine labels, but also as artistic statements . Each bottle label becomes a kind of mini-work of art, intended to evoke emotions or elicit a smile, and thus appeal to both wine lovers and art lovers.

1. Grilled salmon with green asparagus and lemon butter
The juicy texture of the salmon complements the supple structure of the rosé, while the light citrus in the butter emphasizes the freshness of the wine. Green asparagus brings a slightly bitter note that balances well with the fruity character of the wine.
2. Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella and ripe tomatoes
The mild creaminess of buffalo mozzarella is refreshed by the acidity in the rosé, while the sweetness of the tomato complements the fruity notes of strawberry and cherry. Basil provides a fragrant spiciness that is reflected in the wine.
3. Pasta with roasted vegetables and burrata
Roasted courgette, pepper and aubergine bring out the Mediterranean notes in the wine. The creamy burrata provides a velvety texture, which contrasts well with the fresh acidity of the rosé.
4. Oven-baked chicken drumsticks with Provencal herbs
The savoury flavours of garlic, thyme and rosemary complement the subtle spiciness of the Primitivo. The wine is powerful enough for the juicy chicken, but remains light and fresh in the finish.
5. Prawns with chili and lime
The fresh acidity of the wine softens the heat of the chili, while the citrus character of the lime is enhanced. The salty tones of the prawns connect with the mineral side of the rosé.
6. Duck breast with raspberry sauce and candied shallots
The fruity sauce enhances the red fruit aromas in the wine. Duck breast has enough body for the structure of the rosé, while the soft acids in the wine keep it elegant.
If you want to serve this wine at a festive dinner or a summer lunch, these are combinations that are both easy to prepare and culinary convincing. For those looking for something more exciting, you can also think of combinations with Asian spices or refined fish dishes with a sweet accent.

In 1962, 19 winegrowers from San Marzano joined forces to create "Cantine San Marzano". Today, this cooperative has more than 1200 growers and uses modern and technologically advanced installations without compromising the very old wine tradition of Puglia. San Marzano is located in Puglia, in the heart of the acclaimed DOC "Primitivo di Manduria", between two seas (Ionian and Adriatic).
The provinces of Taranto and Brindisi offer a landscape where vineyards and olive trees grow side by side on a red substrate. This soil and the Mediterranean terroir play an essential role in the production of high-quality wines. The climate is extreme, with difficult conditions: drought, frost, Sirocco wind. Yet these passionate winemakers ensure that even grapes from the oldest vineyards produce full-bodied and elegant wines. Respect for the traditions of Puglia and passion for wine are paramount, but go hand in hand with technological developments and clever marketing. The modern wines of San Marzano are now extremely popular in Italian wine bars. The San Marzano label is their premium line, which even appears on the table in Michelin restaurants.
Using modern vinification techniques, San Marzano produces elegant and clean wines that pay tribute to the ancient Apulian winemaking traditions. This fusion of time-honored tradition, passion and contemporary craftsmanship allows the production of wines with distinctive varietal characteristics that reflect the essence of the local terroir. The team of winemakers is built to create the idiosyncratic and innovative style that makes San Marzano recognizable from the first sip. Caterina Bellanova and Davide Ragusa were born and raised in Puglia: Caterina represents the exquisite touch essential to make iconic wines, Davide is a young and talented winemaker, he studied oenology in Florence and developed his practical skills during several harvests, including in Abroad.
The strength of San Marzano lies in its versatility. However, she does have some hobbyhorses. She is a real star in the Primitivo from Di Manduria. San Marzano is also the right address for the wine drinker who is looking for depth and complexity. How about the San Marzano Collezione Cinquanta. This is a complex red wine that unites all the beauty of Salento, part of Puglia. But the real winner is the Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria, a real top wine that the whole world has fallen in love with. It was not for nothing that this powerhouse received no less than 98 points from Luca Maroni, who is considered the Italian counterpart of Robert Parker.
