Tramari Rosé from Primitivo Salento comes from vineyards between the seas (in Italian: "Tra I Mari"). Tramari Rosé is an elegant and light rosé, refined yet casual, born in the sunny Salento summers. Its floral notes and salty notes on the palate transport us to the rugged, sandy coast. Made entirely from Primitivo grapes. A soft pink color with hints of cherry and raspberry.
The Tramari Rosé di Primitivo Salento is made from the Primitivo grape from the Salento IGP appellation. The vineyard is located approximately 100 meters above sea level, with high average temperatures and moderate to low rainfall. The soil of the vineyard consists of a clay layer (ideal for retaining water, but also full of rocks). The altitude and proximity to the sea provide cooling at night, which also helps the grapes develop good acidity.
The harvest takes place around the first week of September. During vinification, the must comes into contact with the grape skins for several hours, followed by partial draining of the Primitivo grapes, ready for further fermentation in stainless steel tanks. In the glass, the Tamari has a light rosé color with intense and persistent aromas of Mediterranean maquis on the nose, with hints of cherry and raspberry. The Tramari is a fresh and elegant wine, balanced on the palate, and is delicious with Italian appetizers, fish soups and broths, roasted or fried fish, fresh or slightly aged cheeses, and is, of course, fantastic to enjoy on its own on a patio or with a barbecue.
The labels of the 2025 Tramari Art rosé were designed by artist Pietro Terzini and are part of an art project called TRAMART . The concept revolves around "messages on the bottle" – short, powerful texts or statements printed directly on the label. These statements are typical of Terzini's style: contemporary, ironic, and often with a touch of pop culture.
The labels thus function not only as wine labels but also as artistic statements . Each box of 6 bottles contains one bottle with the Tramart label.

1. Grilled salmon with green asparagus and lemon butter
The juicy texture of the salmon complements the supple structure of the rosé beautifully, while the light citrus notes in the butter enhance the wine's freshness. Green asparagus adds a slightly bitter note that balances well with the wine's fruity character.
2. Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella and ripe tomatoes
The mild creaminess of buffalo mozzarella is refreshed by the acidity of the rosé, while the sweetness of the tomato complements the fruity notes of strawberry and cherry. Basil adds a fragrant spice that is also evident in the wine.
3. Pasta with roasted vegetables and burrata
Roasted zucchini, bell pepper, and eggplant bring out the wine's Mediterranean notes. The creamy burrata creates a velvety texture that contrasts beautifully with the rosé's crisp acidity.
4. Oven-baked chicken legs with Provencal herbs
The savory flavors of garlic, thyme, and rosemary complement the subtle spiciness of the Primitivo. The wine is powerful enough to complement the succulent chicken, yet remains light and fresh on the finish.
5. Prawns with chili and lime
The wine's fresh acidity softens the chili's heat, while the lime's citrus character is enhanced. The briny notes of the prawns complement the minerality of the rosé.
6. Duck breast with raspberry sauce and candied shallots
The fruity sauce enhances the red fruit aromas in the wine. The duck breast provides plenty of body for the rosé's structure, while the wine's soft acidity keeps it elegant.
If you're planning to serve this wine at a festive dinner or a summer lunch, these pairings are both easy to prepare and culinary-delightful. For something a little more exciting, consider pairings with Asian spices, for example, or refined fish dishes with a sweet accent.

In 1962, 19 winegrowers from San Marzano joined forces to create "Cantine San Marzano". Today, this cooperative has more than 1200 growers and uses modern and technologically advanced installations without compromising the very old wine tradition of Puglia. San Marzano is located in Puglia, in the heart of the acclaimed DOC "Primitivo di Manduria", between two seas (Ionian and Adriatic).
The provinces of Taranto and Brindisi offer a landscape where vineyards and olive trees grow side by side on a red substrate. This soil and the Mediterranean terroir play an essential role in the production of high-quality wines. The climate is extreme, with difficult conditions: drought, frost, Sirocco wind. Yet these passionate winemakers ensure that even grapes from the oldest vineyards produce full-bodied and elegant wines. Respect for the traditions of Puglia and passion for wine are paramount, but go hand in hand with technological developments and clever marketing. The modern wines of San Marzano are now extremely popular in Italian wine bars. The San Marzano label is their premium line, which even appears on the table in Michelin restaurants.
Using modern vinification techniques, San Marzano produces elegant and clean wines that pay tribute to the ancient Apulian winemaking traditions. This fusion of time-honored tradition, passion and contemporary craftsmanship allows the production of wines with distinctive varietal characteristics that reflect the essence of the local terroir. The team of winemakers is built to create the idiosyncratic and innovative style that makes San Marzano recognizable from the first sip. Caterina Bellanova and Davide Ragusa were born and raised in Puglia: Caterina represents the exquisite touch essential to make iconic wines, Davide is a young and talented winemaker, he studied oenology in Florence and developed his practical skills during several harvests, including in Abroad.
The strength of San Marzano lies in its versatility. However, she does have some hobbyhorses. She is a real star in the Primitivo from Di Manduria. San Marzano is also the right address for the wine drinker who is looking for depth and complexity. How about the San Marzano Collezione Cinquanta. This is a complex red wine that unites all the beauty of Salento, part of Puglia. But the real winner is the Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria, a real top wine that the whole world has fallen in love with. It was not for nothing that this powerhouse received no less than 98 points from Luca Maroni, who is considered the Italian counterpart of Robert Parker.
