2023 Gil Family Estates Honoro Vera Rueda Verdejo

Honoro Vera is the new project of the Gil family, which is world famous with its El Nido and Clio wines, but also has very small beautiful domains where the best of the region is brought out on a small scale. All these wines are all gems. The name Honoro Vera is a tribute to the Gil family where Honoro is the name of Miquel Gil's grandfather and Vera of his grandmother

The Honoro Vera Blanco Rueda is a relatively new wine in the Honoro Vera Collection. We carry the already very popularHonoro Vera Garnacha and the wines from Honoro Vera (which is part of the Juan Gil Family) excel in Price-Quality and that is also the case with this wonderful Rueda Verdejo. Straw yellow in the glass with an unmistakable Verdejo nose. Fresh and sour notes, juicy with white fruit, pear and melon in the nose, but also some green notes as befits a Verdejo. In the mouth it is especially tasty because it is fruity but also has a very pleasant acidity which makes the wine very balanced.

Like all Juan Gil wines (honoro veras, clio, shaya, etc), these are at least sustainably produced, or in transition to organic or only certified organic. The Honoro Vera Blanco is now in Transition and the Honoro Vera Garnacha is now certified.
