Description
Light yellow with golden reflections, this Lorenz & Söhne Tatort Narrenkappe Riesling Kabinett puffs out of the glass. Exotic aromas of mango and passion fruit play around the spicy citrus notes in the bouquet. The first sip dances lightly on the tongue with mineral freshness. In addition to the exotic aromas, sun-ripened apricots and a hint of citrus and minerality now unfold on the palate. Elegance and harmony form the sour-sweet game, which makes this Riesling Kabinett a great accompaniment to Asian curry dishes or sushi. And especially after a hearty meal, this Riesling refreshes the palate and enchants the senses without weighing it down.
The family estate has been established since 1950 in the wine-growing region of Nahe on the city limits of Bad Kreuznach. The modern wine cellars are equipped for the production of fresh wines, where experience and skill are an absolute requirement to produce this type of characterful wines. The area on the Nahe and its tributaries Glan and Alsenz boasts a 2,000-year wine-growing tradition. Thanks to the shelter from cold winds of the high Hunsrück, mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine provide an excellent climate for viticulture. An eventful geological history has given the Nahe area great soil variation. Grapes grow on slate, volcanic porphyry soils, loess or loam. This offers opportunities for a multitude of grape varieties and wine styles.
