The Tatort Johannisberg Riesling from Lorenz & Sons shimmers brilliantly light yellow in the glass. If you swivel the wine glass, this white wine is characterized by an immense brilliance that lets it dance smoothly in the glass. The bouquet of this white wine from the Nahe has beautiful nuances of pear, grapefruit, lemon and apple. If we explore the aroma further, we also smell some minerality, sun-warmed stone and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the Tatort Johannisberg Riesling by Lorenz & Söhne starts wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. Despite the dry appearance on the palate, this white wine convinces with an elegantly integrated residual sweetness. Thanks to its lively fruit acid, the Johannisberg Riesling is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the Nahe wine-growing region finally impresses with considerable length with hints of jasmine and acacia. This wine also has great storage potential.

The elegant Tatort Wallhäuser Johannisberg Riesling from Germany is a varietal wine made from the Riesling grape variety. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and crushed and lightly pressed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Tatort Johannisberg Riesling remains sur lie on its fine yeast for several months. Enjoy this white wine from Germany well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables, fruity endive salad or pumpkin casserole.

The family estate has been established since 1950 in the wine-growing region of Nahe on the city limits of Bad Kreuznach. The modern wine cellars are equipped for the production of fresh wines, where experience and skill are an absolute requirement to produce this type of characterful wines. The area on the Nahe and its tributaries Glan and Alsenz boasts a 2,000-year wine-growing tradition. Thanks to the shelter from cold winds of the high Hunsrück, mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine provide an excellent climate for viticulture. An eventful geological history has given the Nahe area a large soil variation. Grapes grow on slate, volcanic porphyry soils, loess or loam. This offers opportunities for a multitude of grape varieties and wine styles.
