The Flor de Vetus Tinto has a deep red color with purple hues. The wine is medium to full-bodied, with ripe red and black fruit on the nose. We detect notes of licorice, spices, coffee, and caramel. The palate is powerful and fresh at the same time. Very structured, and we were surprised that this Toro wine has a beautiful acidity. Clearly a modern style Toro where fruit takes center stage. The wine is well-structured and perfectly balanced, with an exquisite finish.

The Allimant-Laugner Cremant d'Alsace Blanc from the AOC Crémant d'Alsace is a great sparkling wine, lively and fine and is the result of a harmonious blend of the fruit with the suppleness of Pinot Blanc, the acidity and freshness of Riesling, as well as the richness and structure of Pinot Gris. Without a doubt one of the best Cremants available and its popularity can certainly be explained because this wine is also made according to the Methode Traditionelle, like a good Champagne, Cava or Spumante, with a second fermentation in the bottle. The price of this Cremant de Alsace is incomparable to that of a good Champagne and is of excellent quality. The fact that we are not alone in this is also evidenced by the fact that this is the highest scoring Cremant on the Vivino platform and the wine gets 91/100 Wine Enthusiast

Sindicat La Figuera works with 25 hectares of Garnatxa Fina, and the vines range in age from 20 to 70 years. Venus la Universal Sindicat La Figuera is produced by René Barbier. It is a characteristic and rustic red with the chalky tannins of the limestone soils and the aroma of the Garnacha from the village. The wines are fermented with wild yeasts in underground concrete tanks with minimal temperature control, where they age for approximately 9 months on fine lees before being bottled with light clarification and filtration. It is a wonderfully accessible wine. Fresh red fruit, typical mineral aromas and flavors. Elegant, fresh, and juicy best summarizes this delicious wine, and it is not surprising that even this very affordable wine from René Barbier has received 90/100 Parker points since the 2018 vintage. The 2023 vintage itself scored 92/100.
