Sindicat La Figuera works with 25 hectares of Garnatxa Fina and the vines range in age from 20-70 years. The Garnacha 2020 Sindicat La Figuera is made by René Barbier. It is a characteristic and rustic red with the chalky tannins of the limestone soils and the scent of the Garnacha from the village. Wines are fermented with wild yeasts in underground concrete tanks with minimal temperature control where they are aged on fine lees for approximately 9 months before being bottled with light fining and filtration. It's a great accessible wine. Red fresh fruit, the typical mineral aromas and flavors. Elegant, fresh and juicy, that's the best way to summarize this delicious wine and it's not surprising that even this very affordable wine from Rene Barbier has been awarded 90/100 Parker points since 2018. The 2021 itself 91/100

The Hado is a wine with which the renowned winemaker Carlos San Pedro wants to represent the house style of Bodegas Pujanza, and the new trend of Rioja wines focused on the fruit in which the wood should not dominate. In addition, Carlos wants a wine that is accessible in terms of price and he has more than succeeded with the Hado. The Hado is a medium-bodied, clean and serious wine. The nose is nicely ripe but certainly not overripe. Beautiful notes of wood and spices which are very well integrated in both the nose and the palate. In the mouth it has fine tannins. A very elegant wine. 92/100 Parker & 91/100 Suckling

Sara Pérez is the wife of Rene Barbier who makes the famous Clos Mogador, Espectacle and Manyetes. There on 'La Uni', as she likes to call it herself, she has created the mother of all female wines: Venus. And 'Dido' is the more than exemplary daughter of 'Venus'. The Dido La Universal is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha & Merlot. In the glass, the wine is ruby red, with a sensual bouquet full of ripe fruit (from Garnacha and Merlot), something spicy (Cabernet Sauvignon). The Universal has beautiful notes of red and black fruit, a light oak touch and some cedar wood impressions with a particularly long finale. A truly beautiful wine at a very attractive price. This Organic wine is certified organic.

The Allimant-Laugner Riesling is a through and through Alscace (or Alsace) Riesling from the AOC Alsace. Vinified with indigenous yeasts at low temperature for 8 weeks and aging on fine lees for 7 months. The Riesling grapes come from granite soil where the grapes have to work quite hard. This wine has the typical Riesling nose with lemon aromas and a tense and fresh palate and some notes of pebble and lime.

Since the first vintage of Calicanto in 2007, this red blend from Andetelmo Estate has distinguished itself by its fresh and fruity character, spicy notes and polished, silky tannins. Partly due to the higher altitude Andean vineyards, the Callicanto gets an extra dose of clarity and freshness. Wonderfully fruity with herbal and berry aromas combined with a spicy spicy touch. Medium-bodied with fine and round tannins, a soft texture and good balance, incomparable to the often very fruit-driven wines from Chile. This is not surprising for a Chilean Frenchman as the foundation and training comes from Château Pavie.
