Weingut Schwarz was founded by Hans Schwarz, originally a true butcher. A vineyard that has been looked after by the family for generations. The Butcher line is set up to represent the Schwarz Weiss and Rot wines. The Butcher wines are all made for their drinkability. The Butcher series is now a serious hype. The great unique outfit and the price/quality make this a very popular wine.
The Weingut Schwarz Butcher Cuvée is a blend of Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon blanc and Welschriesling from the Austrian Burgenland. In the nose fresh notes of blossom, apricot, apple and spicy notes coming from the Grüner Veltliner. The Butcher Cuvée has a wonderfully fresh drink with notes of citrus fruits and apple with a spicy note. This wine is very well balanced. This is a wonderful wine to enjoy stand-alone and is a good accompaniment to marinated fish, dishes with white fish or white meat.
