2020 Rioja Tentenublo Wines Tinto

A feature that distinguishes Tentenublo is the special situation of the 7 hectares of vineyards, spread over 19 plots located between Viñaspre and Lanciego, one of the lesser known areas of the Rioja region. The incredible diversity of these plots reflects the various wines that Tenteublo produces, which in all cases involve very small unique plots, so the final production is only a handful of very unique, great Rioja wines. Bodega Tentenublo is one of the absolute new style Rioja makers. Made from a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha supplemented with a tiny bit of malveisia and viura. The vineyards are all between 40 and 100 years old and they worked with minimal intervention and soil cultivation. The Tentenublo Tinto is a sensation of fresh fruit. The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak. In the nose we smell ripe black fruit with balsamic tones. It is a lively wine, uninhibited and informal and pure quality.
