Description
A more than great, and also organic, Riesling from a top winery from the German wine region Palatinate. The well-known region where the most sunshine hours in Germany are measured per year and the temperature is quite high for German standards. Winery Okononierat Rebholz has the most vineyards along the Haardtrand (a part between Pfälzer Wald and Rheinebene) located on the west and south.
The Ökonomierat Rebholz Riesling Vom Rotliegenden trocken is a typical terroir wine. A wine is made separately from each mountain or hill with its own unique soil structure. This slightly sweet Riesling comes from soils with different types of slate. Pale golden yellow in color with a light green tinge, aromatic nose with notes of exotic and citrus fruit and white flowers. Pleasant wine with a greasy, but elegant, slightly sweet, also fresh and mineral attack. The wine performs a little ballet on your tongue and bows at the end too. What a joy. Very precise, very pure, very beautiful and so refined.
Parker (Wine Advocate 93+/100) indicates that this wine belongs to the absolute 1er cru level
