The Château Pavie Decesse Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (Grand Cru Classé) has a perfumed nose of cherries, blueberries, cedar, toast, cloves and walnuts. Full-bodied with a firm, beautiful structure of fine-grained tannins. Layered and elegant. Intense, powerful and spicy. Dark and intriguing, with a beautiful presence in the glass. The 3.5 vineyard, originally part of the larger Château Pavie, was separated in the 1880s and has operated as an independent entity ever since.
