Château Pavie Decesse is located in the Saint-Émilion region of Bordeaux, France. This wine, classified as Grand Cru Classé, is an excellent representative of the exceptional quality and craftsmanship that characterizes this region. Château Pavie Decesse has a rich history dating back to the 19th century. The winery is located on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, which provides a unique terroir that gives the wines their characteristic taste and structure.

The vineyard, originally part of the larger Château Pavie, was separated in the 1880s and has operated as an independent entity ever since. The vineyard of Château Pavie Decesse covers approximately 3.5 hectares and is planted with old vines that are on average 45 years old. The dominant grape varieties are Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). This composition creates a rich, full wine with a deep, complex character. The vinification at Château Pavie Decesse is carried out with great care and precision. The grapes are picked by hand and carefully selected to use only the best quality. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled wooden and stainless steel barrels, after which the wine is aged in 100% new oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.
