Château la Négly is located in the Languedoc, on the banks of the Étang de Pissévache on the foothills of the Massif of La Clape. Négly is owned by the Paux-Rosset family, and daughter Marion makes the wine, assisted by oenologist Claude Gros. The great diversity of soils, difference in height and location (up to ten meters from the tidal edge!), ensures a great variety in style and power, but there is one characteristic that connects all wines: great precision and a strong degree of minerality. The quality of Négly has not gone unnoticed by Parker either: he has repeatedly awarded high (up to 99 points) ratings to various wines from Négly!
De La Négly is a Chardonnay with a hint of Marsanne coming from a vineyard in the famous La Clape area. The immediate proximity of the sea and the granite terroir make La Falaise Blanc an incredibly beautiful and elegant glass of wine. The wine has matured for 10 months on (partly new) French oak barriques. The wine has a deep, golden yellow color. The nose is a fine combination of the scent of yellow fruit, lycee and nuts (almond and pistachio). The taste is powerful, with clear wood notes and a creamy aftertaste.
