The Enate Crianza is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo. The classic blend of grapes, but the Enates way - And how beautifully those two go together in a glass! So with the greatest care for the grapes - hand-picked and destemmed. The hand-picked trusses are destemmed. The perfectly ripe grapes are pressed and fermented separately (tempranillo <> cabernet) in stainless steel tanks at 28°C. Soaking lasts 10-15 days. The young wine undergoes a full malolactic fermentation and an aging of 9 months in oak barriques, French (for the cabernet sauvignon) and American (for the tempranillo). The wine is traditionally clarified with albumin (proteins) and lightly filtered. It is bottled without cold stabilization treatment, which allows a small depot in the bottle. A sign of quality.
The Enate Crianza has a deep cherry red color in the glass. Intense and complex nose, rich in smoked notes and spices, on a base of ripe fruit. In the mouth, the wine is full of structure, well balanced thanks to the ripe tannins and fresh acidity. Long finish with elegant wood tones. The Enate wines are renowned all over the world and the labels are made by Spain's best visual artists. A lot of wine for the money.
