The Pinot Blanc grape variety originates from France, its origin lies here in the Alsace region which owes its fame to this grape variety. The production of these grapes has increased tremendously since the 19th century to what it is today. This grape variety is now grown all over the world. The Pinot Blanc from Alsace is the best-known grape of this type to date. 

What does the Pinot Blanc taste like?

The wine is deliciously fruity and fresh and is therefore delicious with various dishes that you will read about later. If you like a sweet white wine, the Pinot Blanc wine is an excellent option for you. The region where the grapes are grown plays a major role in the taste and appearance of the grapes. Depending on the taste, the grapes can also be used in sparkling blending wines and champagnes.
