Molinara is a native Italian blue grape. This grape variety belonged to a highly productive widely distributed grape. However, almost all of them have disappeared in the Veneto-Adige region. In addition, it runs the risk of becoming the forgotten grape variety in Valpolicella. Where this grape variety is used for the famous Valpolicella and Amarone wines.

What does wine from the Molinara grape taste like?

The Italian Molinara grape gives a light red color to wines. It has hefty acids that generally can't age for long. As a result, you should consume these blends young. The wine has fresh aromas of forest fruits.
