When you think of Tuscany, you see hilltop towns, vineyards lined with cypress trees as far as the eye can see. Enthusiasts know that you can find wineries anywhere between those farmlands, where you can also taste ... the idea alone almost makes you mouth water?

This sample box contains a beautiful collection of red wines from Tuscany. All wines are all well-known wines from (internationally) renowned wineries. The composition is done in such a way that it gives a very nice insight into the different styles of wine making in Tuscany.

The test boxes are our pride and all contain top wines that we are very enthusiastic about. A lot of wine for the money and all this is extra cheaply priced to enable you to taste these great wines. The complete and very detailed descriptions of these wines can be found on the website and in the Grand Cru wines app . Enter the relevant wine in the search window, after which you can immediately read all information about the wine (winery, grape, region, etc.).

All wines are also available separately from us.

Weingut Polz is located on the Grassnitzberg in Austria's southern wine region, Südsteiermark. This family business has a rich history that dates back to 1912, when Johann Polz took his first steps in viticulture. Today, the winery is run by the fourth generation, who continue to improve the quality of their grapes and wines with sustainable viticulture and modern technologies.

Although Austria is known for Grüner Veltliner, it is the Sauvignon Blanc grape that steals the show in Südsteiermark. About one fifth of the vineyard area in this region is planted with this grape variety. Sauvignon blanc thrives in the hilly landscape and the relatively mild climate with cool nights. The wines range from fresh and fruity to subtle and elegant.

Weingut Polz offers a wide range of wines, including the well-known Sauvignon Blanc, Weissburgunder and Morillon (local name for Chardonnay). All grapes are harvested by hand. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks or large wooden barrels. Everything is aimed at preserving the grape's own aromas and freshness.

In addition to making beautiful wines, Weingut Polz is also focused on sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity, and they try to minimize the impact of their winegrowing activities on the environment. They are currently in the process of converting to organic viticulture.
