The wine comes from the renowned family-owned Zenato winery, located in the western part of the province of Verona. Their vineyards are situated around the Santa Cristina estate, where the mild climate and the cooling influence of Lake Garda create optimal conditions for Chardonnay. For decades, Zenato has been known for its combination of tradition and modern winemaking techniques.

Grapes & Vinification of Zenato Santa Cristina Chardonnay

The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit notes. A short aging on the fine yeasts adds extra creaminess and texture, without losing its vibrant character.
