Quinta de São Luiz is part of the famous port house Kopke. They saw great potential in the terroir and the centuries-old vineyards. São Luiz is located in the heart of the Douro region on the left bank of the river between Régua and Pinhão. Due to the construction of the Bagaúste dam in the 1970s, the water level rose so much that Quinta de São Luiz lost part of the land. To solve this, they bought several Quintas in the region to continue their dream. All with an A-status and varying in age from 1972 to 1987. São Luiz currently manages 125 hectares of vineyards. The combination of ultramodern technology in the winery and the access to its own vineyards guarantees beautiful wines.

The Quinta de São Luiz consists of 30% Arinto, 20% Viosinho, 35% Gouveio, 15% Rabigato. The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature between 12 and 14 degrees. This delicious fresh Portuguese wine has a fresh light straw yellow color in the glass. In the nose aromas of white fruit and mineral tones. The taste is elegant and silky with a balanced acidity.
