Maison Evenstad is a family business that originated in the United States. In 2015, the couple Ken and Grace Evenstad acquired the Château de la Crée in Santenay, located in the Côte de Beaune. Situated in the heart of Burgundy, this region is famous for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Côte de Beaune is home to many prestigious appellations, including Pommard, Volnay and Meursault.

The 2022 Aloxe-Corton from Maison Evenstad is a 100% Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested by hand from carefully selected plots in the Aloxe-Corton appellation. Het wijnhuis Evenstad Estates, opgericht in 1989 door Ken en Grace Evenstad in Oregon, heeft zich ontwikkeld tot een invloedrijke speler in zowel de Amerikaanse als de Franse wijnwereld. Hun passie voor Pinot Noir en Chardonnay leidde tot de oprichting van Domaine Serene in de Dundee Hills van Oregon, waar ze wijnen van wereldklasse produceren.
