Description
The name Blue Belle fits this beautiful, lush and fresh Chardonnay - a real "Belle"! Produced by Australian winery RedHeads Studio . A breathtaking beauty from the Adelaide Hills made from the well-known and characteristic Chardonnay grapes. The small vineyard is located on a higher part of the Adelaide Hills and produces only a very low yield of grapes that are always picked during the cooler hours of the night. They are then immediately pressed to preserve freshness. Fermentation in oak (Hungarian) barrels provides subtle hints of cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. Stirring once a week, and a full malolactic fermentation, which softens the sharp acids. All this resulted in a wonderfully round, balanced and flamingly clean white wine.
This full Blue Belle with wonderful aromas of honeysuckle, toast, apple and peach has a long, impressive taste with a beautiful structure, slightly nutty with lots of fruit (apple and peach). Very well balanced. The acidity of the wine ensures that the wine can be drunk for at least 6 years. The wine will then develop even further, creating even more interesting flavors. Tastes excellent with dishes with creamy sauces, chicken, fish (salmon), spicy noodles or a tasty salad.

Redheads Studio winery is located in South Australia in the town of Tanuda, in the Barossa Valley where the dedicated team behind Redheads work tirelessly, from the vine to the bottle and beyond, to ensure the wines can always be in their best condition drunk.
It all started with a few Aussie winemakers who went to France to show the 'old hands' some new tricks there. Australian wine had conquered the world in the 1970s and 1980s. That's why Tony Laithwaite brought some Aussies to France. It was there that the very beginning of RedHead's new viticultural movement was laid.
In a small shed in McLaren Vale, a former Indian restaurant, some winemakers took on the challenge of making their dream come true: making beautiful, creative wines in small volumes with primary focus on quality.
They wanted to make wines without being bothered by all kinds of business worries, which resulted in an explosion of creativity and experiments.
Meanwhile, winery Redheads is making great international progress and they still give young talents the opportunity to let their creativity and talents loose on the best grapes in the region. Redheads Wines says of itself: “A free-spirited, movement liberating the best grapes from the premium labels to make wines with soul, character and personality”
