Description
A more than great, and also organic, Riesling from a top winery from the German Pfalz wine region. The well-known region where the most hours of sunshine in Germany are measured each year and the temperature is quite high for German standards. Winery Okononierat Rebholz has the most vineyards along the Haardtrand (a part between Pfälzer Wald and Rheinebene) located on the west and south.
The Ökonomierat Rebholz Riesling Trocken is light yellow in color, aromatic nose with notes of exotic and citrus fruit and white flowers. A beautiful, tight dry wine with a fresh start, tingling on the tongue, clean and elegant mouthfeel with nice length. Very precise and pure, very beautiful and so refined. In the mouth yellow stone fruit, something mineral and an aftertaste with lively acidity. 91/100 Sucking
The Riesling grapes for the Ökonomierat Rebholz are picked by hand with a very strict selection. In the vinification cellar, a cold soaking of 24 hours takes place, then pressing of the grapes and a spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with wild (grape own) yeasts in stainless steel tanks where the wine matures on its fine lie without being crossed. This entire process follows strict biodynamic rules and regulations.
