Description
In April 2022, the rosé Maisons Roses de Lafaurie will be released from the Premier Cru Classé Sauternes winery Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey. This extremely chic rosé is being made for the fifth time, but has never been available on the Dutch and Belgian market before. Maisons Roses was created in collaboration with the Dubourdieu family and is made from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. The wine is bottled in a chic bottle with an engraving by glass artist René Lalique. The grapes come from a terroir in Pujols sur Ciron (not far from Ch. Lafaurie Peyraguey) and this rosé is packaged in the stylish bottle with engraving 'Femme et raisins' by René Lalique from 1928. Silvio Denz also owns the crystal factory ' Lalique', hence his passion for beautiful glassware.
This beautiful bordeaux rosé has a beautiful light salmon pink color with aromas of small red fruit, berries and strawberries in the nose. This tasty rosé is fresh and soft at the same time. Full of fruit and delicious to enjoy in style. The bottle with its engraving exudes cachet and class and is a jewel on the table.

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey is a very old wine producer with an estate of 36 hectares. It is located in the heart of the Sauternes region just outside the village of Bommes. Maisons Rouges (part of Lafaurie-Peyraguey) was a Roman staging post and the oldest stonework of the perimeter wall and entrance, believed to be the oldest structure in the commune of Bommes, dating from the 13th century. The archival materials kept at the castle testify to the rich heritage of Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, preserved for eight centuries of history! Wine has been made on this estate since 1618.
