Description
The Bogle family has been active in agriculture for over 100 years. Since the late 1960s, they have also grown grapes in the California wine region of Clarksburg and later also Lodi. This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes that come from vineyards in the Russian River Valley, Monterey and Clarksburg. The wine has been aged for 10 months in French and American oak barrels.
The Bogle Petite Syrah is an expressive fruity red wine. Bright ink colour with coloured tears. In the nose tones of freshly picked cassis berries and black juniper with dry twigs and a floral exotic touch. Spicy taste with juicy acids and soft tannins in a lush finish. Perfect with oriental spicy dishes with red and white meat, also with pasta in spiced tomato sauce with peppers and with white mould cheeses. Do not drink too warm and we recommend 15°C
Bogle is certified by several agencies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the “Sacramento Area Sustainable Business” Certificate.

Wijnhuis
The Bogle family has been growing wines since the nineteenth century. It wasn't until around 1968 that the family planted the first vines near Clarksburgh USA. After years of hard work, the Bogle family has more than 1,200 acres of viticulture in California. With the growth of the company, the family established a name within the wine world, both in America and abroad. The main reason for the success is that the family is engaged in the production of wine on a daily basis. The family understands that high quality wines start with excellent grape varieties. They ensure this by working organically with respect for the land and the environment. The story behind the pheasant on the labels of the wines is as follows. The family wanted a label that reflected the region of the vineyards. The family came into contact with the artist Paul Lorenzi, who was sketching the wines one evening. Suddenly a beautiful pheasant sat in the middle of the vineyard. The Bogle wines label was born!
