2019 Ai Galli Venezia Selezioni Sauvignon

'Amore, Passione e Tradizione'', that is what this wine producer stands for. Azienda Agricola Ai Galli di Buziol Elide started in the early 1970s and today owns almost 50 hectares of its own vineyards. Located in the commune of Lison-Pramaggiore, all plots fall within the DOC Prosecco. With love and passion, wines are produced here in a traditional way using the most modern and innovative vinification techniques. The vineyards are densely planted and the yield per vine is greatly reduced, so that the quality of the grapes increases. And that the quality is more than good, is endorsed by, among others, the Italian wine bible ''Gambero Rosso''!

In this beautiful Sauvignon Blanc wine from winery Ai Galli from the Selezioni, the grapes are harvested manually in the first ten days of September and then get a short pre-fermentation. The must is transferred to steel vats where the fermentation is completed for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 18-20 ° C. The aging takes place for several months on the fine lees in steel vats. The wine is then bottled and left for several months for bottle aging.

Not surprisingly, this 100% Sauvignon Blanc has similarities with Alto Aldige, located just a little more to the north. The wine has a light straw yellow color with green accents. In the nose, the wine has a bouquet of yellow fruit, elderflower and ripe red berries. The taste is fresh, softly full, elegant and persistent. enchanting with
