Description
'Amore, Passione e Tradizione', that is what this wine producer stands for. Azienda Agricola Ai Galli di Buziol Elide started in the early 1970s and today has almost 50 hectares of its own vineyards. Located in the commune Lison-Pramaggiore, all plots fall within the DOC Prosecco. Wines are produced here in a traditional way with love and passion using the most modern and innovative vinification techniques. The vineyards are densely planted and the yield per stick is greatly reduced, so that the quality of the grapes increases. And that the quality is more than good, is endorsed by, among others, the Italian wine bible ''Gambero Rosso''!
In this beautiful Sauvignon Blanc wine from winery Ai Galli from the Selezioni, the grapes are harvested manually in the first ten days of September and then receive a short pre-fermentation. The must is transferred to steel vats where fermentation is completed for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 18-20 ° C. The aging takes place on the fine yeast in steel vats for several months. The wine is then bottled and left for bottle aging for several months. By the way, the full name of this Sauvignon Blanc is Ai Galli Lison Prmaggiore Sasuvignon Blanc Selezione. The wine comes from the Lison Pramaggiore sub-region. Not surprisingly, this 100% Sauvignon Blanc has similarities with Alto Aldige, located just a little further north. The wine has a light straw yellow color with green highlights. In the nose, the wine has a bouquet of yellow fruit, elderflower and ripe red berries. The taste is fresh, soft, full, elegant and persistent. Enchanting with its beautiful acidity in combination with fresh fruit and yeast notes due to the sur lie aging. This is a very elegant, refined wine. Delicious with raw fish and vegetables, fish dishes, shellfish and delicate dishes in general.
