A&D Wines was named the most revolutionary wine producer by Portugal's leading wine magazine VINHO last year for their innovative Vinho Verde. A&D are Alexandre & Dialina Gomas, technical engineers with a great love for wine. You can immediately see that technical precision in the extremely healthy vineyards and very clean winery in the renovated Quinta de Santa Teresa. The wines are made from native varieties such as Avesso, Arinto and Malvasia Fina, with minimal intervention. Result: incredibly pure wines with a lot of grape authenticity, expression and freshness.
Singular is the top wine of A&D Wines. Singular is made from the best grapes of the vintage, and therefore differs annually in composition. 8 grape varieties are used, including Avesso, Arinto, Malvasia Fina and Alvarinho, complemented by a field blend. Each person drawn on the label is a unique figure. After all, no two people are the same. There is only one of each person, in other words: they are 'singular'. This also applies to the many grapes in the Singular blend. The A&D Singular is aromatic and complex. Wide palette of citrus fruits and yellow fruits. Rich and concentrated. Precision, freshness and minerality. Lots of length.
Alexandre & Dialina are well aware that the best grapes come from healthy vineyards. Healthy vineyards come naturally when you treat nature well. Therefore, they protect natural water sources by leaving other natural vegetation intact. This vegetation is in turn kept in check by grazing cattle: this provides natural fertilization. Synthetic products and extermination are not necessary. This approach produces ripe, aromatic grapes, which are not contrived in the cellars. With minimal intervention, but extreme precision, wines are made that express landscape, grape and climate.

A&D Wines makes wine in the Vinho Verde DOC appellation. The vineyards are located in the sub-region of Baião, right next to the Douro area. In this warmer microclimate, the grapes obtain a particularly aromatic concentration for Vinho Verde.
