Description
At Geografico, each vineyard that comes under management is evaluated by the geologist and the vineyard specialist. They advise on the best grape varieties and rootstocks. They then help the owner with the layout of the vineyard and with the constant vineyard management. An expert team of winemakers makes the wine. Finally, there are 'state of the art' bottling lines. This quality philosophy is combined with a focus on terroir: the grapes for the higher wines always come from one vineyard and are therefore named after their domain. The wines are produced in a classical way with little intervention in the vinification process. This results in honest wines, pleasant to drink wines, which are also competitively priced.
The Geografico Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Tricerchi is a great classic Brunello from Montalcino that never disappoints. In the glass this Brunello has a very intense, cherry red color. In the nose plums and black cherries, cocoa, tar, flowers, toast, minerals and herbs. In the mouth powerful but juicy with beautiful clean fruit, soft tannins and pleasant acids. Certainly feminine for Brunello and approachable in its youth and for this kind of iconic wines still very pleasant in price.
FACT: The wine is in our conditioned Wine Warehouse and if you come to pick up the wine you will also receive a nice discount. We are almost next to the Rijksweg with plenty of parking. Click here for address.
