This Geografico Chianti Colli Senesi is a beautiful purple-red colour in the glass. Intensely scented in the nose with fruit of amarena cherries and a light spiciness, and in the mouth wonderfully fresh with a fairly light structure with subtle tannins. The wine is made from Sangiovese and a small percentage of Canaiolo. The addition of the classic grape variety Canaiolo gives the main grape variety Sangiovese extra character and depth.

At Geografico, each vineyard that comes under management is evaluated by the geologist and the vineyard specialist. They advise on the best grape varieties and rootstocks. They then help the owner with the layout of the vineyard and with the constant vineyard management. An expert team of winemakers makes the wine. Finally, there are 'state of the art' bottling lines. This quality philosophy is combined with a focus on terroir: the grapes for the higher wines always come from one vineyard and are therefore named after their domain. The wines are produced in a classical way with little intervention in the vinification process. This results in honest wines, pleasant to drink wines, which are also competitively priced.

They then assist the owner in setting up the vineyard and constantly in vineyard management. An expert winemaker team makes the wine. Finally, there are state of the art bottling lines.
