Moscato di Trani

We can't find products matching the selection.

The Moscato di Trani DOC is most closely associated with the city of Trani, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, although it also includes nearby municipalities. The production code specifies a single variety, Moscato Bianco, known locally as Moscato Reale, and only two wine categories are produced, a naturally sweet wine and a fortified liqueur wine. The history of Moscato di Trani dates back to the 13th century, when the merchants of the Republic of Venice made the wine famous in much of Europe. The production code specifies an alcohol percentage of 14.5% and a maturation period of at least five months.
