Pinot Blanc
Pinot Blanc grape
Preface
Pinot Blanc is the main grape of the Crémant d'Alsace. It is therefore one of the seven main characters from Alsace. Moreover, it is grown in many places, but nowhere is it given a leading role. Not even in Alsace where it does not belong to the 4 noble grape varieties. However, his pedigree is good. He is a mutation of Pinot Gris, who is related to Pinot Noir. The taste is very similar to a mild Chardonnay, but in a lighter version.
