The Grand Cru Wines Bordeaux Selection Box is a beautiful box that can hold 6 beautiful (burgundy) wines. It is a flat box with space for 6 bottles next to each other. We have put together a version containing our customers' favorite Bordeaux wines, but of course we can also fill this box with wines that you can select yourself and of course we are happy to help you. The Callac Cuvée Prestige is a beautiful complex white Bordeaux or even more specifically a white Graves. The wine has a beautiful bright pale straw color. A complex and elegant nose with citrus notes with just a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. The hint of vanilla from the oak is elegant and never overpowering. In the mouth the wine is velvety and soft with excellent length. The tannin of the new oak is again present but not dominant. A wine to drink with turbot à la crème and perfect to combine with lobster or fish in a sauce.

This white Bordeaux wine has a beautiful straw yellow color with green apple reflections, a very fresh nose in which the Sauvignon dominates the elegance. The Château Baratet is well balanced on the palate with notes of citrus fruit. A delicious wine to enjoy as an aperitif and a perfect accompaniment to lobster, shrimp, molluscs, fresh seafood and raw vegetables. Mr. Dafre, the owner of Château Baratet, has been producing organic wines since the 1980s and was one of the pioneers of this naturally conservative area. The vines are grown according to strict rules to obtain the ECO-CERT certification awarded to all organic farming in France. No chemicals are tolerated!

The Château La Fontaine de Genin is a great wine. A Bordeaux of this level from this price range is special. Chateau La Fontaine de Genin has belonged to the same family for 3 generations. M. Benoit Prevot (40 years old) is the grandson of the first owner. He is also cellar master for all of Michel Rolland's own wine, including from the world famous Chateau. Fontenil (Fronsac) and Ch. Bon Pasteur (Pomerol). The Fontaine de Genin has a beautiful deep color with a bouquet of black fruit in the nose, underlined by a hint of vanilla, espresso and Mediterranean herbs. The wine is fresh, well balanced with good length. This wine is excellent with meat, game and cheese.

Château Haut Piquat, Lussac Saint Emilion, owned by Jean Pierre Rivière, enjoys a beautiful setting. The beautiful golden stone house stands on top of a small hill and has just been restored in a very successful way. The Château Haut Piquat is a fine and generous wine with a deep purple color, a complex nose of red fruit and vanilla. The aromas are balanced and harmonious. The nose is attached by the palate and has an excellent length. This typical Lussac Saint Emilion is a very elegant, somewhat complex wine that will become even more beautiful with some aging. Drinking it young is certainly no problem, but it is advisable to decant the bottle or open it 1-2 hours in advance so that the wine can breathe. Wonderfully meditative waltzing with a glass and this wine with an excellent price/quality reveals its secrets.

The harmonious balance of these grape varieties in this Château de Lavagnac Bordeaux Rouge gives it great finesse. The constant work carried out in the vineyard (green pruning, removing leaves, etc.) in the purest tradition of the Bordeaux region allows one to obtain a wine with balanced, fruity tannins and great freshness on the palate. The Château de Lavagnac is a perfect companion for drinking a nice tasty glass of wine with good company and is also an excellent accompaniment to pasta or lasagna bolognese, pizza and delicious with a stew such as a hash.

The 2015 vintage was a great year and this quintessential Bordeaux Supérieur is an example of Value for Money. A lot of wine for the money. Like the La Grande Dame, this Château de Lavagnac Bordeaux Supérieur is a Merlot-driven blend of around 75-80% Merlot supplemented with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine is organically produced and has been aged for 12 months in new French oak. It has developed quickly with ripe fruit now mature and tannins that have softened.
