2023 Girlan Classici Pinot Grigio Alto Adige

This Pinot Grigio is grown on the hillside vineyards of Girlan at altitudes ranging from 450 to 500 m above sea level. The soil is rich in minerals dating back to the Ice Age.

The grapes are hand-picked and once they arrive in the cellar, a soft pressing and clarification of the must takes place by natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and is further matured on the lees in the tank.

Light lemon yellow in colour. Fruity aromas of apple and pear in the nose. Also hints of almond and some spiciness (chervil). In the taste the wine is soft in structure, juicy and lively.
