Description
EN PRIMEUR DISCOUNT VALID UNTIL 1/12/2025 - DELIVERY SPRING 2026
The domain once belonged (in the 17th century) to Pierre de Rauzan, but later, during the Revolution, it was separated into Ch. Rauzan Ségla and Ch. Rauzan Gassies. Since 1946, Ch. Rauzan Gassies is owned by the Quié family and today it is Jean-Michel Quié who runs the domain together with his children Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe.
The 2023 Rauzan Gassies is deep, smooth and super expressive, with great depth and fine balance. Soft, lush contours envelop a core of red/purple fruit, new leather, rose petals and spices.
Ratings: 93-94 James Suckling, 93 Markus del Monego, 92 Jane Anson, 92 Falstaff Magazine, 91-93 Vinous (A. Galloni), 90-92 Alexandre Ma

Creamy and tight tannins here, alongside succulent dark-berry, spice and crushed-stone notes. It’s medium-bodied, firm and focused with a velvety finish.

The 2023 Rauzan Gassies is deep, pliant and super-expressive, with terrific depth and fine balance. Soft, plush contours wrap around a core of red/purplish fruit, new leather, rose petal and spice. The 2023 is all charm.

Rauzan Gassies has been in the hands of the Quié family and today it is Jean-Michel Quié who runs the estate together with his children Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe. Serious works in the vineyard have greatly improved the quality of the wine and the new cuverie was put into use from the 2017 vintage. Without having the concentration of the very great Margaux wines, this turns out to be a very interesting, delicious wine with preservation power.
