Description
The soil is quite rich in colluvium and small pebbles. The wine comes from a blend of about sixty selected plots, located in the village of Puligny-Montrachet and also in Meursault. The average age of the vines is 45 years and this is a 100% Chardonnay. The wine ages for 14 months (including 5 months in stainless steel tank) - 90% in oak barrels (of which 10% new oak) and 10% in stainless steel barrels
Les Sétilles is a seductive and accessible wine, which reveals a nose with pleasant honeyed notes and white fruit. The freshness is accompanied by a delicate feeling in the mouth and the finish is expressive with chalky nuances. Ideal with a fillet of swordfish marinated in lime, fried calamari or a hot or cold Brie.

The name Leflaive is known throughout Burgundy. Olivier Leflaive and his brother Patrick decided to start their own winery in 1984, with uncle Vincent from Domaine Leflaive guiding and helping them behind the scenes.
For many years, Olivier and Patrick wanted to expand the estate by taking over the family legacy of Domaine Leflaive. Both Olivier and Patrick wanted to respect the prestigious appellations of Domaine Leflaive and at the same time increase the reputation of the brand. Twelve hectares are now privately owned, divided into eight different appellations.

These are mainly located in the prestigious appellations of Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, and Chassagne-Montrachet. Through patient inheritance and careful acquisitions, Olivier Leflaive has built a valuable viticultural heritage, including famous Premiers Crus and Grands Crus.
