Laura Catena - daughter of the famous wine pioneer Nicolas Catena - set up the La Posta wine series to give the smaller winegrowers of Mendoza their own stage, instead of a nameless spot in the local cooperative. The wines are called La Posta, after the typical local pub that you find everywhere on the side of the road.

The grapes for this Pinot Noir come from the vineyards of Isaías Prieto. They are located in the relatively cool Tupungato, at an altitude of no less than 1200 meters. That's what Pinot Noir likes. The difference in temperature between day and night in particular provides aroma and good acidity. He relies on his delicious fruit, so only 20% of the wine is matured in used French oak barrels. The rest of the wine remained in stainless steel. This produces a delicious glass of Pinot, powerful and balanced, with delicious fruit.

The La Posta Pinot Noir (Glorieta Vineyard) is a delicious glass of Pinot, fruity, powerful and balanced with fresh blueberries and strawberries, ripe plums, jam, elegant and soft, with good acidity, nicely typified for Pinot Noir. Powerful red wine. Delicious with grilled salmon, lamb chops or risotto with mushrooms.

In the Argentinian tradition, La Posta is a tavern where the (wine) farmers come together for a glass of wine, to share stories about the harvest and of course for their daily siesta. Each La Posta label illustrates a story of these individual families. One sip full of flavor and you will welcome these breeders into your own family, into your glass and into your heart.

Angel Paulucci, from car mechanic to owner of a vineyard.

The Pizzella Family, for the love of nature, these two teachers have left town.

Domingo Fazzio, the dancing winegrower who loves women.

Estela Armando, from Italy to share wine with the trans-European railway workers
