Vineyards and grape varieties

The Château Petit-Village vineyards are strategically located among some of Pomerol's most renowned neighbors. The soils consist of gravel with a clay subsoil, ideal for Merlot, supplemented with Cabernet Franc and a small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination creates depth, aromatic intensity, and structure.

Vinification and maturation

The grapes are harvested plot by plot and fermented separately to maintain maximum control. Maturation takes place in French oak barriques, with a carefully selected proportion of new wood used to add structure and complexity without dominating the fruit. Deep ruby red in color. Pronounced aromas of blackberries and blueberries on the nose, with notes of cedarwood and a subtle smoky touch.
