This unique Vérité assortment is a case for the enthusiast (or the investor). This mixed case contains 3 bottles in total, one bottle of each type packed in a beautiful wooden lacquered case.

Winemakers Jess Jackson (of Kendall-Jackson) and Pierre Seillan met in the 1990s. Seillan worked at several châteaux in Bordeaux (including Château Lassègue), but felt limited by the regulations in Bordeaux. When Jackson asked him if he wanted to make wine in Sonoma, California, he knew right away. With his knowledge of Bordeaux grape varieties, he set to work creating three Bordeaux blends, each in very small quantities. The three wines have already received 100 points from Wine Advocate on numerous occasions. Winemaker Pierre Seillan is currently handing over the winery to his daughter Hélène.

Le Désir is Cabernet Franc dominated
La Muse is Merlot dominated.
La Joie is Cabernet Sauvignon dominated.

Verite Le Desir 2021

This wine has 95-97/100 Wine Advocate

The 2021 Le Désir is a blend of 87% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and 2% Malbec and was matured for 16 months in new French oak. Currently resting in tank, it explodes with gregarious aromas of blueberry, dried thyme and lavender, fennel, coffee grounds and truffle. The medium to full-bodied palate is light on its feet, with ultra-powdery tannins, fireworks of fresh acidity and a youthfully coiled finish featuring mineral, floral fruit .”

Verité La Muse 2021

This wine has 93-96/100 Advocate

A blend of 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec, the 2021 La Muse was matured for 16 months in barrel. Currently resting in tank, it's youthfully shy and fruity at this early stage, showing a touch of matchstick-like reduction. After time in the glass, it reveals a core of Morello cherry, shiitake mushroom and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is concentrated yet weightless, with restrained, just-ripe, mineral-driven fruit, abundant, grainy tannins, noticeably refreshing acidity and a spicy finish.”

Verité La Joie 2021

This wine has 96-98/100 Wine Advocate

The 2021 La Joie is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot and was matured for 16 months in new French oak. Currently resting in tank, it's surprisingly open-knit at this early stage, offering pure aromas of cassis, crushed blueberries, licorice, garrigue, earth and violet with streaks of pencil shavings. The full-bodied palate is earthy to begin with, its fruit laced with truffle-like accents. Structurally harmonious, it features abundant, powdery tannins and plenty of refreshing acidity to highlight a flourish of spicy accents across the long finish.”

With more than 50 "micro-crus" spread over four appellations, Vigneron Pierre Seillan carefully crafts each Vérité blend. This mosaic of micro-crus gives Seillan the palette of aromatics, flavors, textures and structural elements he needs to make the wines of Vérité. Each micro-cru is individually harvested and fermented, then aged in French oak barrels with various custom toasts. Seillan carefully tailors his winemaking techniques and oak regimes to the personality of each plot, equipping it with hundreds of unique components that he can use to architecture from the final blends of La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir.

Like many high-end Napa wines, the Vérité has been distributed for years via the Neogciance in Bordeaux, where Grandcru wines can fortunately also buy and the run is always on the famous assortment box in which the La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir are packed in a very nice box. .
