The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc is made entirely from hand-harvested Chardonnay. After a gentle pressing, fermentation took place in oak barrels, only a small portion of which were new to preserve the fruit and freshness. The wine was then aged on the lees to develop additional texture and complexity. This meticulous process results in a wine that is pure, precise, and balanced, with subtle oak notes that enhance the character rather than overpower it.

Tasting note

In the glass, the wine displays a bright golden yellow color. The nose opens with notes of lemon peel, green apple, and white flowers, followed by nuances of almond and a light minerality. On the palate, the wine is lively and elegant, with flavors of ripe pear, peach, and fresh citrus. The texture is soft and round, while the acidity provides tension and length. The finish is clean and slightly salty, with a refined mineral note typical of Chassagne-Montrachet.
