2020 Château la Mission Haut Brion Blanc

Château la Mission Haut-Brion is located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, classified as Crus Classés in the 1953 Graves classification. La Mission Haut-Brion is the sister estate of Château Haut-Brion. The winery belongs to the Graves wine region, in the commune of Talence with an additional estate in Pessac. The winery also produces a second wine from younger vines, La Chapelle de la Mission, since the 1991 vintage, and the dry white wine Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc since the merger of Château Laville Haut-Brion in 2010. The vineyards extend over 21 hectares between Pessac and Léognan. The white Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc, has an annual production of 500 to 700 cases.

2020 Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc Tasting Notes

La Mission Haut-Brion is a blend of 72% sauvignon and 28% semillon. It is perfumed with floral, citrus and stone aromas, as well as hints of grapefruit. Extremely long and fine-grained. The spicy, medium to full-bodied palate is charged with energy and delivers vibrant citrus and tropical fruit layers with a satiny texture and fantastic length. Insanely beautiful.
