2020 Cedar Rock Chardonnay

The vineyards of Cedar Rock are located in the North Coast area, which, as the name suggests, is a lot further north than the more famous wine regions. Here it can often be a little cooler on the vineyards thanks to the breeze from the ocean. This has a positive effect on the Chardonnay grapes, which get an ideal growth process thanks to the difference between heat and cold. This gives the grapes an ideal balance between fullness, juiciness and freshness. The Cedar Rock is a 100% Californian Chardonnay that has had an oak maturation, but because the vineyards are located cooler than most Californian areas, this wine is certainly not 'over-the-top'

The Cedar Rock Chardonnay has a clear, yellow color in the glass with aromas of lemon, pear, apple, vanilla and cinnamon. Delicious flavors of ripe pear, lemon and caramel. A rich and round texture with a crunchy finish.
