2019 Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc Tasting Notes

The 2019 Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc from Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, is considered an exceptionally elegant wine with powerful and complex aromas. This white blend of 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc shows vibrant notes of peach, apricot, citrus and delicate floral notes such as orange blossom. The wine is described as refined with a deep minerality, supported by a texture that is both creamy and refreshing. The use of wood adds a subtle note of oak without overpowering the freshness.

On the palate, this wine has an excellent balance between acidity and fullness, with a long, mineral finish. This makes the 2019 La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc suitable for long aging, where its complexity will continue to develop. According to experts, this is one of the château's finest white wines, appreciated for its freshness and potential for aging up to twenty years. This cuvée scores high with critics, ranging from 95 to 98 points

2019 is particularly praised for its depth and structure, making it a coveted choice for lovers of complex white Bordeaux.
