Château Gracia is a small-scale winery located in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux. Founded in 1994 by Michel Gracia, a former building contractor and stonemason who worked for renowned wineries such as Château Cheval Blanc and Pétrus. Encouraged by friends Jean-Luc Thunevin (Château Valandraud) and Alain Vauthier (Château Ausone), Michel acquired a 1.5 hectare plot near Château Troplong Mondot and produced his first vintage in 1997. In later years he expanded his vineyard to its current 2.84 hectares, with plots close to Château Angélus.

The 2018 Gracia is a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, with an alcohol content of 14%. The wine has a deep purple color and jumps from the glass with exuberant aromas of blueberry compote, baked black plums and cherries, complemented by notes of praline, undergrowth, black truffle and tar, and an emerging scent of roses. On the palate the wine is full and powerful, bursting with dark and blue fruits, framed by soft, velvety tannins and a beautiful freshness. The finish is long and rich with exotic spices and savory, layered notes.

FACT: The wine is in our conditioned Wine Warehouse and if you come to pick up the wine you will also receive a nice discount. You will see your discount immediately when you choose Pick up in Checkout page. We are almost next to the Rijksweg with plenty of parking. Click here for our address.
