The Can Blau is one of the great wines of Cellers Can Blau and is a blend of Cariñena, Syrah & Garnacha which has been aged for 12 months in oak barriques. The Cariñena and Garnacha vines used for the production of these wines have an estimated age of 25 to 40 years, the Garnacha vineyards are located at approximately 750 meters altitude in the area of Cornudella de Montsant on slate soils, Cariñena vineyards in Darmós and Masroig on clay soils and Syrah vineyards are located on limestone soils.

The Can Blau is a full bodied wine. In the nose we smell notes of wood smoke, cigar box, incense, lavender, black cherry and plums followed by a mouth-filling, round, dense wine with an excellent grip and length. It is a very complete glass for lovers of a full, sturdy but also very elegant wine.
